John Randle is an orthopaedic surgeon with over 6,500 shoulder rotator cuff reconstructions on people of all ages, including professional athletes from the CFL, MLB, and NHL.
Randle started a shoulder program at Southlake Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario, and has developed a line of shoulder reconstructive products called “anchors” that are sold world-wide. He also performed the first all-arthroscopic rotator cuff repair in Canada,
Randle has been involved in the education of orthopaedic surgeons in over 60 countries, with an annual course for 125 surgeons in Florida each winter.
Randle also owns a farm with an apple orchard, apiary, and a managed forest that produces his own maple syrup..
Memories of… Enduring Friendships
I have two memories I would like to share. The first is the enduring friendships I developed in my school years that continue today. I think that North Bay somehow provides the perfect environment for the development of life-long friends. The second memory is fishing for pickerel with my father in our little tin boat with the sun setting over Lake Nipissing. Lakes, rivers, open spaces, friends and family are the foundations of lasting memories of my teen years in North Bay.
