Art Camp Summer Camp
August 12-16, 2024
Calling all inspiring artists! Enjoy a five day camp filled with all kinds of different art experiences. We kick off art camp with creating self portraits and learning about different art styles. This camp will include daily activities based on different art styles and artists ranging from textile art, music, dance, and live performances. We will look at the classics like The Group of Seven, Emily Carr and Daphne Odjig. We will visit the WKP Kennedy Gallery and Capitol centre with time spent outdoors being inspired by our surroundings. Campers will participate in an Indigenous artist workshop. Campers will be encouraged to sketch and create art for the entire week. The last day of camp will end with an exhibit where family and friends can view our budding artists work. Register today to reserve your spot!
